New video scoreboards for Folsom Field

The five new high-definition video scoreboards installed at Folsom Field this summer will give fans a better stadium experience for years to come. The new boards replaced the standard-definition video boards that were installed in the mid-1990s.

Environmental design degree returns to Boulder campus administrative structure

Provost Russell L. Moore announced CU-Boulder has resumed the administration, management and governance of a bachelor’s degree in environmental design with the start of the 2012-13 academic year, and is beginning a visioning process for how to fully integrate environmental design into the wide array of related programs on the Boulder campus.

Cmdr. Scott Carpenter returns to Boulder, Sept. 20

Please join the City of Boulder for a park rededication ceremony with Commander Scott Carpenter in celebration of the 50th anniversary of his 1962 earth orbit space flight. Commander Carpenter, pioneering NASA astronaut, Sealab aquanaut, book author and Boulder native, will be present to speak and reflect on his distinguished career.

Rockers Rumble 7

The seventh annual  Rockers Rumble will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, from 2-10 p.m. in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom. The break dancing competition, embodies the spirit of Hip Hop and promotes hip hop in a positive light. The seventh annual competition embraces the competitive spirit in which every competitor trains all year long to bring new moves, new styles, and new sounds to the biggest break dancing competition in Colorado.
