Environmental design degree returns to Boulder campus administrative structure

Provost Russell L. Moore announced CU-Boulder has resumed the administration, management and governance of a bachelor’s degree in environmental design with the start of the 2012-13 academic year, and is beginning a visioning process for how to fully integrate environmental design into the wide array of related programs on the Boulder campus.

Faculty Awards at Fall Convocation

Please join us for a celebration of our outstanding faculty and students. On Friday, Sept. 28, CU-Boulder will host its seventh annual Fall Convocation: A Celebration of Faculty and Student Achievement. It will be held in conjunction with this year’s Family Weekend. Events include speakers throughout the morning and an awards ceremony followed by a reception.

CU-Boulder Strategic Messages: Faculty Input Sessions this Week

In collaboration with the Boulder Faculty Assembly, the university's Strategic Marketing Alliance seeks faculty input on its effort to enhance the coordination of campus-wide advertising and taglines in order to more efficiently convey the university's value to its stakeholders.

Two input sessions have been scheduled this week: Wednesday and Thursday, September 19 and 20, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Art Gallery at the University Memorial Center. Pizza will be provided. Please come and share your input!

Professor Gay Lynn Olsen of International Affairs Receives Scholarship of Engagement Grant

Professor Olsen was one of four recipients of Colorado Campus Compact's Scholarship of Engagement Grant for Fall 2012. Professor Olsen received funding to create a service learning course, Global Health Issues, which draws on case studies to examine health concerns and interventions in developing countries from a social justice framework.
