As we kick off the school year, let's take a moment to recognize our place in the city of Boulder community. With many of us living in neighborhoods, amongst families and individual residents alike, we have the responsibility to take care of the community we live in and respect the people around us.

CU student hones skills during D.C. internship

Early last spring, Jessie Zweibel started thinking about how she could spend her summer. That’s when a campus email came across her screen, seeking applicants for an internship program in Washington, D.C.

Zweibel was one of more than a dozen CU-Boulder students who spent the summer in Washington, D.C., as part of CU in DC, an internship program developed by the College of Arts and Sciences that is open to all students in the college.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to keynote CU Law School’s Bench and Bar Conference

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court will give the keynote address at the University of Colorado Law School’s Gathering of the Bench and Bar Conference to be held Sept. 19-21 in Boulder.

CU Police Department shares crime alerts via Facebook, Twitter

The CU-Boulder Police Department recently launched Twitter and Facebook pages. The Police Department plans to use social media to share crime alerts, crime prevention tips, information on crime trends, pedestrian safety tips and more.
