We are working quickly to designate an interim Athletics Director, but have not come to any agreement at this time. Provost Phil DiStefano and I have spoken with a number of potential candidates for the interim position, including Jack Lengyel, but we have not reached final agreement.

In the near future, we will identify members of the search committee for the permanent position, in order to begin a search process that will be conducted in a timely and thoughtful manner. We are considering the use of a consultant to assist the search committee in the identification of potential candidates. At this time, we have not come to an agreement regarding the selection of a consultant. As soon as decisions are made on all these important actions, we will announce the information.
