I want to express my deep appreciation for the hard work and thoughtful deliberation by CU-Boulder faculty leaders in developing these recommendations.  I am delighted that our faculty are actively participating in efforts to enhance the integration of athletics into the academic mission and to help resolve issues surrounding the football program.  Their recommendations will be carefully considered among others emerging from the various reviews now under way.
