The University of Colorado Boulder held its spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 9, at Folsom Field. Join the story.
The ceremony honored candidates for 5,927 degrees, including 4,545 bachelor’s degrees, 908 master’s degrees, 149 law degrees and 325 doctoral degrees.
Cathleen Black, a former media executive and author, was the keynote speaker for the ceremony. Black served as president and chairman of Hearst Magazines and was an executive with USA Today and New York magazine.
The new CU-Boulder graduates join more than 250,000 CU alumni out in the world making a difference as entrepreneurs, educators, groundbreaking researchers, artists, musicians, civic leaders, climatologists, astronauts and doctors -- to name a few.
For more than 135 years CU-Boulder has been attracting superb faculty, staff and students and building strong programs in the sciences, engineering, business, law, arts, humanities, education, music and many other disciplines.
