CU-Boulder Students Making Their Mark In The World

With the fall semester underway at CU-Boulder, many students have returned to classes after having spent their summers gaining valuable experience in the world. Some spent their time volunteering and working internships in their fields of study, while others traveled to faraway countries to make a difference in the world, or stayed here in Boulder to try their hand at sustainable organic farming.

Through campus programs like the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program, Study Abroad, Institute for Ethical and Civic Engagement, Presidents Leadership Class, Residential Academic Programs and many others, CU-Boulder students are excelling in whatever interests them. And they have a lot to choose from at CU.

Here are just a few examples of CU-Boulder students engaged in their world.

On the way out of Boulder just off the Diagonal Highway is a dirt road that leads to an 80-acre parcel of farmland that has been in a local family for generations. Part of that land allowed to University of Colorado at Boulder students to try their hand at sustainable organic farming this summer.
