Chancellor DiStefano and Deans Gleeson and Getches
deserve to be commended for their work on a very serious matter that
has received much debate. We now must let the University's research
misconduct process work as it is intended. I have confidence that the
committee will conduct a professional, careful, and thorough investigation.
