We support the action taken by the Phi Kappa Tau national fraternity to suspend its Boulder chapter indefinitely.

We appreciate the fact that the national organization has stepped forward to reiterate its stated commitment to leadership, academics, service and character - and is taking the steps necessary to reinforce those values. We recognize how difficult this decision is for the student members as well for the national organization.

The University will work with the dislocated fraternity members to help them find alternative housing while they remain as students at CU-Boulder. Our shared goal is to help these individuals succeed in their academic pursuits as well as personal growth.
