A memorial service for Walter S. Wally Collins, professor emeritus of music and a former associate dean of the College of Music at the University of Colorado at Boulder, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, in Grusin Music Hall.
A reception in the new student lounge will follow the service.
Collins died June 30 of a brain aneurysm in Hyannis Port, Mass., while vacationing in Cape Cod. He was 71.
Sixteen graduating law students at the University of Colorado at Boulder have been selected as members of the honorary Order of the Coif for high academic achievement throughout their law school careers.
The students represent the top 10 percent of 1996-97 graduates from the CU School of Law.
The law school graduated 167 students in May and recognized the top 15 percent of students from the December and May graduating classes at the May commencement. Students in the top 10 percent were selected in late June for the 1997 Order of the Coif.

Collins and his wife, Jenny Kate, of Boulder, were vacationing in Cape Cod last week when the aneurysm occurred. He was admitted to Cape Cod Hospital on June 25 and never regained consciousness.
