Nationally Known Feminist to Speak Against Abortion at CU on April 16

Sally A. Winn, senior communications specialist with the Feminists for Life of America organization, will give the talk "Refuse to Choose: Reclaiming Feminism" at the University of Colorado at Boulder on Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m. in the University Memorial Center, room 235.

The free public event is sponsored by the Students for Life group at CU-Boulder and the CU Cultural Events Board. Doors for the event will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are required and can be picked up at the door the night of the event, or to reserve tickets call 303-667-1172 or e-mail ricehr@gmail.com.

"We are thrilled to host such a dynamic speaker who will present a fresh and truly feminist perspective on the strength of women, the potential of every human life, and the responsibility of educational institutions and employers to ensure that a woman does not have to choose between her goals and her unborn child," said Hannah Rice, a CU-Boulder senior and member of the Students for Life group.
