Power has been restored to the CU Recreation Center and it is has returned to normal hours except for the Ice Rink, which will open at 5 p.m.
Workers outside the CU Recreation Center struck a power line at approximately 2 p.m. Thursday, shutting down power to the central campus for about 40 minutes. The power was restored quickly to all buildings except the Recreation Center. There were no injuries in the incident.
