Wildfire Burning in Boulder County

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office and local fire departments are combating a large wildfire in Boulder County northwest of the City of Boulder.

The fire is not threatening the University of Colorado campus or the immediate campus environs or central City of Boulder.

The Neva fire had burned an estimated 1,400 acres as of 7:00 a.m. For updates and a list of evacuations and closures, go to the Boulder County Web site.
