Students attending the first home football game Saturday against Sacramento State at 1 p.m. are encouraged to get to Folsom Field early and enjoy all the gameday festivities.
A few of the pregame highlights include a visit to Ralphie’s Corral, located just south of Benson Earth Sciences, where Ralphie herself arrives at 10:15 a.m. and will be available for photo opportunities. Or stop by to grab a glance of her until about 30 minutes before kickoff.
Stadium gates will open at 11:30 a.m., and just a reminder that it is first come, first serve seating so if you want to be in the first few rows, get there early to make sure it happens.
If you prefer to sleep in, please get in the stadium in time to see the best tradition in all of college football. Ralphie will lead the Buffs onto the field at the five minute mark or just about exactly right at 1 p.m. (actual kickoff will be at 1:06 p.m.).
If you arrive an hour early, you can catch the band performance in Ralphie’s Corral before they head to Balch Fieldhouse for a performance at 12:20 p.m.
