The Center for Neuroscience

The Center for Neuroscience serves as a nodal administrative structure whose purposes are to organize and foster the development of neuroscience research and teaching at CU-Boulder. The Center faculty members are affiliated with 13 different Departments and Institutes at CU-Boulder. The Center for Neuroscience:

  • Administers the CU-Boulder Neuroscience Ph.D. program
  • Fosters inter-disciplinary across-department research and interaction
  • Obtains both federal and corporate funds to support the development of neuroscience at CU-Boulder
  • Acts as a focal point for interaction with the neuroscience community at large such as national organizations and programs at other universities
  • Fosters interest in neuroscience among the undergraduates at CU-Boulder
