Major choral events throughout the year include the Madrigal Festival sponsored by the University Singers, the men's choral festival sponsored by the Golden Buffalo Men's Chorus, and the Holiday Festival in early December.
The Holiday Festival is an annual event that has become a Boulder tradition. The Holiday Festival consistently sells out all of its performances in the 2000 seat Macky Auditorium. It involves all the choirs as well as the university orchestra, handbell ensemble, percussion ensemble, and faculty soloists. All proceeds of the Festival go towards scholarship funds.
The choirs at the University of Colorado at Boulder perform all over the United States as well as internationally. Recently, choirs from the University of Colorado have performed in Rome, Venice, and Beijing, as well as a variety of locations within the United States such as the national ACDA comvention.
