Off-Campus Recitals

Off-Campus Degree-Required Recitals

If you wish to perform your degree-required recital off-campus, you should first secure a date and time from the venue of your choice (*Note: Fees from the venue may apply). Once you have a solidified date, you must fill out the Recital Scheduling Forms (see applicable level in the left hand navigational bar for proper forms and signature requirements) and notify the Scheduling Office. A fee of $20 is required. This fee covers the cost of official College of Music programs which must be produced for archive purposes. Submit your program to the Scheduling Office (University Club A2) or email it to Myra Jackson three weeks before your recital. Be sure to pick up your printed programs from the Scheduling Office before your recital! This fee does not include a stage manager or recording technician. For Senior and Graduate Student recitals, a recording must be submitted for the CU Music Library archive. Please check with Kevin Harbison for format requirements and a list of recommended recording technicians. The performer is responsible for providing his own stage manager and recording technician for off-campus recitals.

Off-Campus Non-required Recitals

For non-required recitals simply contact the venue of your choosing and make necessary arrangements through them. You do not need to do anything through the University!
