Music Technology Certificate
Computers and electronics play an increasing role in the lives
of musicians in the early 21st century. The College of Music offers a
Music Technology Certificate for music majors who wish to augment their
degree with comprehensive studies in music technology. The certificate
consists of 14 credit hours of electronic music instruction.
Students who wish to earn this certificate must complete the Music Technology course sequence, and must also
complete an independent project (a
composition, performance, or research project) under the supervision of
a member of the Music Technology faculty. For more information,
