College of Music - University of Colorado Boulder
To Be Determined
Registration Fee: $250
The University of Colorado Boulder’s College of Music annually invites high school chamber and symphony orchestra to participate in an Invitational Orchestra Festival, in recognition of their continued excellence. Due to space and scheduling, participation in the festival is limited to less than 10 ensembles each year. If you are interested in your ensemble participating in the festival, please inquire early to Frederick.Peterbark@colorado.edu.
Each orchestra will perform a program of up to 25-minutes in the newly renovated Grusin Music Hall, and receive a 25-minute clinic with a nationally recognized clinician following their performance.
Each school is asked to bring only one (1) orchestra, and is asked to provide three (3) additional scores of each work for the clinicians.
Please contact Frederick.Peterbark@colorado.edu to inquire about bring additional orchestras.
Orchestras are invited to attend performances of other orchestras throughout the day.
The event is also free and open to the public.
