     Join us in Boulder, Colorado for four inspiring days devoted to the flute. This seminar will feature diverse masterclasses, performances, and lectures illuminating the panoramic view of flute playing today.
Presentations will include:

• Masterclasses (orchestral and solo repertoire)with Buyse and Jennings
• Dalcroze Eurhythmics classes with Lisa Parker (Longy School of Music)
• Intonation Workshop with Michael Webster (Rice University)
• Creative Practicing Strategies with Jennifer Keeney (The Creative Flutist)
• Historical lectures with Steven Finley (Flute FX)

We will welcome fifteen Performers (ages 18 and up) from a wide range of backgrounds and experience. These performers, selected by application and recordings, will play in two masterclasses and may perform on the closing concert. Pianists from CU’s collaborative program will perform with students. In addition, up to fifty Participants will be welcome. These flutists will attend all lectures and masterclasses, and take part in both the Dalcroze classes and morning warm-ups. Anyone interested in attending a single day of the seminar is also welcome.

The Panoramic Flutist will be held at the College of Music on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder. Located in the scenic foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the campus is easily accessible by car and public transportation. Regional bus and shuttle services run regularly from Denver International Airport.
