Laurie Sampsel is the Head of the Music Library at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She earned a master’s degree in flute performance from the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University and her MLS from Kent State University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in musicology at the University of Pittsburgh. Her publications include an edition of the complete works of early American psalmodist Samuel Babcock and a bio-bibliography devoted to the twentieth-century British composer Cyril Scott.
