Pat Bianchi is a Jazz Pianist and Jazz Organist who has gathered a large amount of experience as a performer, private instructor and studio musician. Born in Rochester, NY, Pat began playing music by ear at the age of 6. By the age of 7, he began his studies in classical piano. Being from a musical family, he was also being educated by both grandfathers and his father in playing basic jazz styles, big band and dance music. Pat was able to absorb a large amount of musical knowledge within a short period of time and was playing professionally by the age of 12. Pat continued to study with various private teachers, eventually receiving a scholarship and enrolling in the Eastman School of Music community education division. While at Eastman, Pat continued his studies in classical piano and music theory. In conjunction with his classical studies, Pat continued to pursue jazz piano on his own while performing in various student jazz ensembles. In 1994 he graduated from Williamson High School, winning many musical awards and scholarships. Pat was accepted at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and received a Bachelors of Music degree with a concentration in Performance. While at Berklee, Pat studied with many notable musicians such as, Joanne Brackeen, Hal Crook, Billy Pierce and Ray Santisi. He graduated Cum Laude in 1998. Upon graduating, Pat relocated to Denver, CO. There he began another phase of his musical development and career. He relocated to New York city in 2002, making his mark on the Jazz scene and within a matter of weeks, he began to tour and perform with many well know musicians. Currently Pat resides in Denver, CO, where he keeps an active performing and teaching schedule. His performance credits include: Javon Jackson, Joey DeFrancesco, Byron Landham, Randy Johnston, Lou Donaldson, Roy Ayers, Mark Elf, David “Fathead” Newman, Melvin Sparks, Dion Parsons, Brad Leali, Winard Harper, Frank Tiberi, Conte Candoli, Bud Shank, Pete Christlieb, Bill Saxton, James Carter, Billy Tolles, Alvin Queen, Jerry Welden, Russel Malone, Red Holloway, Johnny DeFrancesco, Vincent Ector, Mark Whitfield, Larry Coryell, Greg Skaff, Nick Brignola, Terrell Stafford and Jessie Davis, among many others.
