Can I major in music entrepreneurship at CU?

No. Programs offered by the ECM, including the Certificate in Music Entrepreneurship, are designed to supplement the degree plans of students majoring in Music. There is no separate degree in Music Entrepreneurship.

I’m a graduate student. Can I take ECM courses?

Yes. All ECM courses are cross-listed for graduate and undergraduate credit.

Can graduate students complete the Certificate in Music Entrepreneurship?

Not at present. Because the Certificate also involves a minor in Business, it is only open to undergraduate music majors.

I’m not a music major, but I’d like to learn more about the music business. Can I take your courses?

While ECM courses are designed for music majors, the instructor may give permission for you to enroll in a class as long as the roster isn’t full. If you’re interested, make an appointment so we can decide if the class is a good fit for you.

I’m interested in doing an internship. How do I sign up for one?

The ECM has access to a wide variety of internships, both locally and nationwide. Internships may be completed for academic credit, though many students elect to do internships without it. If you’re interested in an internship, make an appointment with the ECM and we’ll find a good fit for your schedule and interests!
