Music Education Camera Checkout Policies

Music Education students are required to videotape their teaching as part of the Field Experience process. The Music Education Department owns two video cameras which are available for student checkout.

Length of Checkout
Cameras can be checked out for four hours at a time. Special permission is required for a longer checkout, including weekend checkout.

Camera Pickup and Return
Cameras should be picked up and returned to the Music Education TA Office, N1B04. Occasionally, you may be asked to return or pickup a camera at the IMIG Main Office.

Media
Students are required to provide their own media for recording. The TA office cannot provide media for you. The following media are required:

  • The Panasonic camera requires a Mini DV Tape (DVC)--OUT FOR REPAIR!
