Folsom Stadium

Originally named Colorado Stadium, it held 30,000 spectators and hosted some of the largest sports audiences of it's time. In 1944 it was renamed Folsom Field in honor of Coach Folsom, one of the most respected coaches in college football. In 1956, 15,000 seats were added and the field level was lowered allowing for the recognizable feature known as the Colorado Ramp.

In its current state, Folsom Field holds nearly 55,000 spectators for Buffalo football games and thanks to the new $40 million addition to the stadium, it represents some of the latest stadium technology in use today.
