Take an informal video tour of the CU-Boulder College of Music with Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Outreach Frederick Peterbark. This tour focuses on information and resources prospective students need to know about.
This video features Associate Professor of Piano Pedagogy Alejandro Cremaschi performing the first movement from retired CU Composition Professor Luis J. Gonzalez’s “City Twilights.” Live performance at Grusin Music Hall on March 16, 2010.
Associate Professor of Piano David Korevaar performs two of Liszt’s Swiss pieces: Eglogue and Mal du pays. The first is an evocation of spring (a nice relief after the Vallée d’Obermann); the second, based on a Ranz des vaches that Liszt evidently liked well enough to recycle many years later in his famous Nuages Gris, is filled with nostalgia and longing. Recorded live at the University of Colorado, January 26, 2010.
