Wind Symphony & Symphonic Band: Inspired by Creations

On Friday, February 4 at 7:30 p.m., the CU Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band will present Inspired by Creations–a program of music inspired by other art forms–in Macky Auditorium.  Check out the following video with conductors Allan McMurray and Matthew Roeder as they discuss the impetus of this innovative performance and the benefits for the student musicians involved.

Macky Auditorium Celebrates 100 Years

Celebrating 100 years hosting the best performing arts, lectures and entertainment events, Macky Auditorium is one of the most valuable and recognizable historical spaces on the CU Boulder Campus and a premiere venue in the Front Range. This short historical documentary made in celebration of Macky Auditorium’s 100th Anniversary was created thanks to the hard work of Executive Producer Tony Moores, Producer/Director Bud Leonard, writer Silvia Pettem and contributor Alan Cass.
