On-Campus
Off-Campus
Living in a spectacular mountain-backdrop settingon or off the University of Colorado campusis an important part of student life. Subject to space availability, all freshmen are required to live in a residence hall for two academic-year semesters, where a range of services and programs are designed to support the intellectual, social, and personal growth of single student residents. Family housing is also offered for married students. New freshmen and transfer students receive housing application materials from the Department of Housing after they have confirmed their intent to attend the university. Application by May 1 at the latest is advised for all freshmen. Many music majors choose to live in Cheyenne-Arapaho Residence Hall, which is located close to the music building.
Application for admission and application for housing are two separate transactions. For more information on residence halls, family housing, off-campus services, and dining, call 303-492-8491 or visit www-housing.colorado.edu.
