The College of Music offers a variety of undergraduate degrees (Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education & Bachelor of Arts) in addition to three (3) certificate programs.
The College of Music does not offer any minors in music. However, the College of Music has a wide variety of opportunities for non-music majors.
Students interested in the College of Music have a two-step application process. Students must meet the University of Colorado Boulder deadlines and then the College of Music deadlines. College of Music deadlines for SPRING Semester Admission are:
- Oct. 1 – Jazz Guitar, Voice, and non-Colorado resident Flute (prescreening required)
- Oct. 1 – All other areas (the jazz department does not accept spring applicants)
College of Music deadlines for FALL Semester admission are:
- Dec. 15 – Jazz Guitar, Voice, and non-Colorado resident Flute (prescreening required)
- Jan. 15 – All other areas
The College of Music is still accepting application for Fall 2014 admission for all areas except Composition. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as the University can close the application process at any time. A closure announcement may not be made online.
