Finances

Expenses for students attending CU-Boulder vary depending on whether they live on or off campus, their program of study, state residency (tuition classification), personal needs, and individual interests. It is difficult, therefore, to provide exact statements of total expenses. An online bill estimator, which provides a calculation of approximate costs per semester by college (such as tuition, fees, insurance, and room and board), is available here.

The Board of Regents reserves the right to change the costs for tuition and fees and room and board at any time, and it should be expected that costs will be higher in following years.

The College of Music also offers merit aid to both undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Music.
