Getting to the Mountain Research Station from Boulder

From Boulder: go west on Route 119 (Canyon Blvd) to Nederland, approximately 18 miles. At Nederland, follow Route 72 west (heading north) toward Ward for approximately 7 miles. Turn left at the green University of Colorado Mountain Research Station sign.

Public Transportation

From Denver International Airport. Public transportation (bus service, RTD AB bus) is available to Boulder (about 40 miles away). Bus schedules are posted at the airport or available by calling the station. There is also a limo service (the Airporter) to Boulder on a regular basis. Buses (N bus) from Boulder to the Nederland Park-n-Ride run approximately every 50 minutes on weekday mornings and evenings, and three times daily on weekends.
