Fume Hood with Spinner:
A fume hood which we use for various chemistry experiments in the lab. The primary use of the fume hood is for the fabrication of graphene oxide which is a water soluble form of graphene. We use this graphene oxide to make solution processed films of graphene for applications such as membranes and nanomechanical resonators. Graphene oxide has other uses as conducting transparent electrodes for solar cells and high surface area electrodes for capacitors and batteries. The spinner in the fume hood is used for spinning thin films of graphene oxide.

Nanoimprint system
A state-of-the-art nanoimprint system (obducat Eitre 3), capable of patterning over 3-inch wafer with precise (1% uniformity) temperature and pressure control up to 250oC and 7MPa respectively, with sub-10 nm patterning resolution. In addition, the equipment is capable of performing simultaneous thermal embossing and UV (wavelength 250 nm ~ 400 nm) induced crosslinking, providing additional probability of tuning materials properties using photo-crosslinked materials.
