The event will feature Alan Krause, President of MWH Global, an ENR Top 20 Design Firm. He will be speaking about Engineering Projects in Developing Countries - Case Studies, Challenges, and Opportunities.

Alan has over 3 decades of experience working on and managing engineering projects in developing countries around the world. Trained as a geotechnical engineer, Alan has become a global engineering leader through his work and commitment to develop the world's natural resources in a responsible and appropriate way.

As President of MWH, he has overseen some of the most notable global engineering projects including the Panama Canal Expansion and large hydropower developments in Pakistan and Ethiopia. From this experience and expertise, Alan will discuss the practical challenges associated with global engineering projects in developing areas as well as opportunities that development work can bring for engineers.
