Thank you for your interest in the graduate program in Mathematics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

We offer a PhD degree, as well as Masters of Arts and Masters of Sciences degrees.

We have a diversified graduate faculty with current areas of research interests in algebra, classical analysis, differential equations, harmonic analysis, logic and foundations, number theory, probability, geometry, and topology.

The Department has approximately 50 teaching assistant positions available annually.The stipend for a TAship for the 2008-2009  year is $15,284, and annual increases are expected. TAships carry a tuition waiver and provide 70% of your university insurance plan (30% is paid by the student). TA positions are awarded based on your previous academic achievements and future academic promise. Towards that end we require three letters of recommendation from mathematicians, transcripts of previous postsecondary education as well as General and Math Subject GRE scores.
