The Department has approximately 50 teaching assistant positions available annually. The stipend for a TAship for the 2010-2011 year is $15,329 and annual increases are expected. TAships carry a tuition waiver and provide 70% of your university insurance plan (30% is paid by the student). Towards that end we require three letters of recommendation from accredited mathematicians, two transcripts of previous postsecondary education as well as General and Math Subject GRE scores.
We hope our program fits your needs and that we will be hearing from you.
