MATH 3130, Intro to Linear Algebra,

Course Contents:
Examines basic properties of systems of linear equations, vector spaces,
linear independence, dimension, linear transformations, matrices, determinants,
eigenvalues, and eigenvectors.

Lecture Hours and Venue:
MWF 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m., HUMN 1B50.
Homework:
Homework assignments will be given on the course homepage on a bi-weekly
basis. Homework is due at the beginning of each class on the
second Friday following the assignment. It is the student's responsibility
to get these assignments in the event of an absence from class.
Homework will be graded. Late turn-ins will not be accepted.
Show all your work.
Exams:
In class midterm exam: Friday, April 1st.
Final exam: Tuesday, May 3rd, 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Course Grading:
Your grade will be determined from the graded homework (50%), the midterm (20%), and the final exam (30%).
