Entering Scholar / PEAC Application
Application Information & Instructions:
The Miramontes Arts and Sciences Program (MASP – formerly the Minority Arts & Sciences Program) at the University of Colorado at Boulder is an academic community comprised of students dedicated to pursuing academic excellence at CU and of faculty and staff available to support these students in their successful matriculation and graduation. Every summer, MASP invites top incoming, underrepresented freshman to its rigorous Summer Program for Excellence in Academics and Community (PEAC). The PEAC curriculum focuses on intensive university-level material, giving students an opportunity to form a strong community while being introduced to material and concepts that will serve them during their freshman year and beyond.
PEAC is tailor-made for students who want to spend five weeks of their summer participating in a challenging experience. This year, the program dates are June 16 - July 21, 2013.
Applicants must plan to enter the University of Colorado at Boulder as first-year students to be eligible for consideration. In order to ensure consideration, completed applications for the current entering class should be submitted by March 22, 2013. Applications received after this date will continue to be considered if space is still available. Completed applications can be faxed or mailed.
