Prohibited Devices
As a general rule, cameras, backpacks, recording devices, skateboards, large bags and firearms are not permitted in the auditorium during performances. Laptops, cell phones and pagers must be switched to silent mode.
Food and Drink
We are now providing concessions in the lobby for select events, offering snacks, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages. Please feel free to bring your drinks inside the hall (drink responsibly!). We serve beer or wine on a few select events (please call our office for events with alcohol); due to the terms of our license, outside food and drink are not allowed, and alcohol purchased inside Macky cannot leave the premises under any circumstances. You are welcome to bring unopened bottled water.
Children
At Macky, we frequently host events that are enjoyable for families and children. Regardless of age, any child attending a performance is required to have a ticket, even if the child will be sitting in an adult’s lap. As a courtesy to the artists and other audience members, please exercise discretion in bringing children under six years old to a performance. Most shows last two hours, including intermission. A limited number of booster seats are available on a first come first served basis.
Latecomer Seating
As a courtesy to the artists and other audience members, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager at an appropriate interval in the program.
Safety
A certified Emergency Medical Technician is on duty at all performances over 500 people. If a medical emergency arises, please contact an usher who will notify the EMT.
