Applying for Graduate
Studies
Only applications that are complete by the deadlines will receive full consideration.
International applicants: The application deadline is December 1 for all international applicants. The application deadline for the MA program for TESOL Professionals is also December 1. However, in 2009 and 2010, international applications for the TESOL program that are received by January 15 will also be given consideration. All applications are for graduate study beginning at the start of the following Fall semester. International applicants can click here to apply online or download a printable application packet.
Domestic applicants: The application deadline for all domestic applicants, including those who wish to be considered for financial aid, is January 15. Application deadlines refer to the date by which all required
materials—including all transcripts, letters of recommendation and
test scores—have been received by the Linguistics Department, or, in
the case of international applicants, by the Office of Admissions.
For those mailing applications, send them early enough to allow for
possible postal delays. Applications completed after the above dates
will be considered only if space is available.
Domestic applicants include US citizens and permanent residents.
