Getting to Boulder
By car:
Boulder is approximately one hour from Denver International Airport by car. To get to Boulder from DIA, follow airport exit signs to Peña Blvd., which after 9.7 miles merges onto I-70 West. Take I-70 West to exit #279 for I-270 North toward Fort Collins. Merge onto US-36 North and continue until Baseline Rd. exit. To get to the Boulder Inn from here (see travel page for hotel information), stay in the middle lane after exiting and go straight through light onto Frontage Rd. - hotel is one block further on the right.
Driving time is just under an hour during non-peak hours.
By shuttle:
Denver's public transportation system (RTD) includes SkyRide, a shuttle that travels between DIA and various locations in the Denver metro area. SkyRide route AB will take you from the airport to downtown Boulder for $10. For the Boulder Inn, get off at Baseline Rd. and walk East to 28th St. The Boulder SuperShuttle goes directly between the airport and local hotels for $22 each way or $40 round-trip. Please note that the SuperShuttle needs to be reserved in advance; information is available through their website.
By bus:
A number of major bus companies, including Greyhound and Amtrak, make stops in Boulder. Consult their websites for routes, schedules and stop locations.
Getting to Campus
The University of Colorado campus is located in central Boulder, and is accessible by foot from a number of hotels, or via several bus routes.
Buses that stop near campus include the HOP, SKIP, DASH and JUMP lines; the SKIP is the best way to get from the Boulder Inn to the area of campus where the conference is to be held - see the map linked above for detail. For schedules and routes, see RTD's website
or their map of buses travelling in the Boulder area.
For information about parking on campus, see CU's visitor parking options.
