- Manuscripts should be submitted via e-mail attachment or as a hard
copy to one of the editors.
- Word processor (with embedded images) or Acrobat pdf files are both
acceptable. If we cannot read it, we will get back to you.
- Title page should include the best e-mail address by which to reach
you (the primary author) as well as the lab or class in which the work
was done.
- Submitted images should be of a resolution of less that 150 dpi and
no larger than 5 inches wide. We prefer JPEG format images.
- We will strive to return reviews of the work (so that you can get
a real experience of the scientific publication process) within two
to three weeks of receiving your manuscript. If you do not hear from
us - bug
us.
- Once you have received your reviews, it is your responsibility to
make the necessary changes or explain to us why such changes are unnecessary.
You explanation should be in a formal cover letter.
- Once we have received your revised manuscript, you should have a final
response from us within one week.
- Your manuscript will be posted on the CU-LIFESCIENCES web site and
will be available as a downloadable pdf file. So if you are planning
to patent your work, make sure you take proper precautions to protect
your intellectual property -- you can check with the CU Office of Technology
Transfer as to the proper procedure.
