Kate Tallman is Assistant Professor and Interim Director of Rare & Distinctive Collections. She has worked in the University Libraries Government Information collection since 2012. Tallman's scholarly activities reside within the context of remarkable technological change and its impact on government depository libraries, resources, and users. She received her BA in Anthropology from Northern Illinois University, MA in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
