Industry of Colorado The USGS Mineral Yearbooks include separate
chapters for mineral industry in each state. Available as .pdf files for the
years 1994 to the most recent year. The site also provides access to a map
of the principle mineral-producing locations. The individual reports contain
narratives that discuss the precious mineral industry, non-fuel minerals such
as lead and zinc and developments at specific sites. In addition, the individual
reports contain charts on non-fuel raw mineral production (gemstone, precious
metals, clays) on the crushed stone industry and industrial sand and gravel
production.
