- Census 2000 General
Demographic Characteristics: Colorado a report in .pdf format.
Includes data on population by sex, by age, by race, by Hispanic
origin. In addition, it includes data on relationships between
occupants of households, household types, housing occupancy and
housing tenure for the state, cities, Census designated places,
towns, primary metropolitan statistical areas, congressional
districts, Indian reservations, and the state as a whole.
- American
Factfinder (Census Bureau) provides 1990 and 2000 Census data
on cities, towns, metropolitan statistical areas, counties,
Census-designated places, and other levels of geography.
- Census
2000 Supplementary Survey provides estimates of demographic,
social, economic, and housing characteristics for the United
States and the fifty states. The Census recently released data on
cities and counties in Colorado with populations of 250,000 or
more. These include the cities of Aurora, Colorado Springs, and
Denver and Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, El Paso, and
Jefferson counties. State-level data is available from the
pull-down menu of states. For access to city and county data,
choose the link to Census 2000 Supplementary Survey Summary Tables
near the bottom of the page. The survey includes:

data, county population projections in 5 year intervals from
1995-2025, county population estimates, per capita personal income
for 1980, 1985, and the 1990s, race and Hispanic origin by county,
personal income by county and source, transfer payments to
counties, employment, jobs, and labor force, and jobs by economic
sector.

population (July), total taxable assessed value (K$), total
personal income (K$), total retail sails (K$), per capita
income ($), average household size, unemployment rate, and
housing vacancy rate.

Counties The latest edition is now available at the Census
Bureau website. Like the earlier editions of the database, the
1998 edition contains a wealth of information on many topics,
including: age, agriculture, ancestry, banking, building permits,
business patterns, crime, earnings, education,elections,
government, health, households, housing, income, labor force and
employment, manufactures, population, poverty, retail trade,
services industries, social programs, veterans, vital statistics,
and wholesale trade. Many of the topics include time-series
data.
