Students in Libby RAP enjoy a wide variety of co-curricular and community-building events throughout the year.
Libby RAP students have painted a number of murals over the years with guidance from Tyler Alpern, LRAP's drawing and painting instructor. The murals painted on the electric boxes by Sewall Hall were the first instances of student-made public art on the CU-Boulder campus. Libby RAP was very honored to be invited by the City of Boulder to paint a mural on the back of the Flatiron Theatre on the Hill as part of a community-building neighborhood improvement project with residents of the Hill and the university in 2011. Libby RAP will be returning to the Hill in the fall of 2013 to paint another mural at the City's invitation; this time, the mural will be student designed. Watch this page for updates once the project is completed.
