I have been teaching at University of Colorado - Boulder since Fall 2006, starting with BCOR recitations, and then teaching the BCOR 1010 Introduction to Business course and the BCOR 3010 Business Applications of Social Responsibility. I have a B.A. in Financial Management from Michigan State University and a MBA from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Prior to teaching, I held Analyst, Management and Senior management positions in various banks and multi-national corporations with emphasis on management of international operations, finance and control functions, set–up and oversight of joint ventures, real estate and municipal Bond underwriting, treasury operations, and risk management, primarily currency exposure. In addition to Colorado, I have lived and worked in Chicago, Brussels, Hong Kong, Wroclaw, Poland, and Ann Arbor Michigan.

As an extension of my corporate experience I have worked extensively as a consultant in the non-profit sector, providing financial management expertise in the microfinance area. At present, I serve as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of The Center For People With Disabilities, an Independent Living Center in Boulder Colorado. I have also worked at different times, as a cook, a fork lift operator, a janitor, a veterinarians assistant, and a ranch hand.

I live in North Boulder with my wife of 24 years, two school age daughters and a small menagerie of animals. My interests are travel (over 35 countries and counting!), cooking, skiing, hiking and camping, cycling and playing guitar. Life is Good!!!!
