Biography

Rachel relocated to Colorado from Chicago in December 2010 to work for the Leeds Development Team. As a Director of Development, she works with donors here in Colorado, and also travels primarily to Southern California and Chicago, with additional territories including Florida, Minneapolis, Aspen and London. Rachel is the development liaison for the Burridge Center for Securities Analysis and Valuation, and enjoys managing an enthusiastic team, including the Associate Director of Development (Carolyn Gleason), Assistant Director of Development (Mallory Rubin) and Development Assistant (Anna Linn). Previous to her move, she held positions in higher education development at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Loyola University Chicago in various capacities. Rachel obtained her undergraduate degree in Communication, and MBA in International Business and Marketing, both from Loyola University Chicago. She enjoys volunteering and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Community of South Sudanese and American Women/Men (CSSAW) based here in Boulder. When not fundraising for Leeds or volunteering, she enjoys running and hiking in the foothills and playing on various sports teams here in Boulder. During the colder months, Rachel cheers for her beloved Green Bay Packers (kicker Mason Crosby is a Buff!).
