Marc Cussatt is a Ph.D. candidate in accounting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Marc's research interests include financial accounting and how accounting information relates to the stock market. Marc’s current research investigates whether the current pension accounting rules can lead to over/understated pension liabilities in extreme interest rate environments.
Prior to returning to academia to pursue his Ph.D. in 2009, Marc worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers based out of the New York City office. His work focused on corporate taxes and the corresponding financial statement disclosures.
In his free time Marc enjoys playing softball, camping, and hiking.
