Kristen Freaney is the Program Manager for the Professional Mentorship Program (PMP) here at the Leeds School of Business. The program matches over 630 junior and senior-level students with over 650 professional mentors in one-on-one partnerships, which help prepare students to make the leap from college to career. In addition to managing the PMP, Kristen teaches a one-credit Professional Development course open to all Leeds students.
Kristen is a Chicago native, who earned her BA in Human Development Psychology and Community Psychology from DePaul University. Before coming to Colorado, she helped oversee Employer Relations at DePaul University’s Career Center, managing career fairs, networking events, and other campus recruiting initiatives for DePaul’s 24,000+ student population. When she’s not working, Kristen can be found playing with her dogs, Buttercup and Fez, or training for her next marathon along the gorgeous trails in and around Boulder.
