CESR’s executive director, Mark Meaney, has been asked to serve as a judge at the 52nd Annual FBLA State Leadership Conference on April 23-25th in Vail. The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a national organization that supports high school students interested in pursuing a career in business.

Student members learn how to lead and participate in group discussions, preside at meetings and conferences, work effectively within committees and engage in practical problem solving and decision making. Members learn the value of competition on local, district, state and national levels by experiencing the responsibility of success as well as the challenge of defeat.

The Colorado FBLA chapter sponsors an annual case competition at the state level where students compete on a wide variety of business-related topics. Approximately 2,500 high school students from across the state will attend this year.
