water as a business issue

A public invitation:

Tuesday, April 7th
6:30 - 9:15 pm
KOBL S127

Our bodies and our planet are ~70% water. We cannot live for more than a few days without it, there is no substitute for it, and water crises – global and local – are a current and growing reality. On April 7, 2015, Topics in Sustainable Business will be holding a public lecture and panel discussion exploring “the business of water” – a $425 billion a year industry – addressing the range of challenges inherent in what many see as a public resource, and thus presumed to be a right more than a good. The aim of this exciting session is to provide an overview of key water issues and trends, and a review of personal and corporate activities in the space.

The two panelists for our April 7 session are world-class experts and authors in this very dynamic field: Wendy Pabich, Artist, Author, and President and Founder of Water Futures, Inc., and William Sarni, Director and Practice Leader, Enterprise Water Strategy at Deloitte Consulting LLP. The session will be facilitated by Dave Payne, CESR faculty member.
